Welcome to our family-owned and operated childcare center! Since 1996, The Children’s Garden has delivered exceptional care and education for kiddos in our community. With two corporate centers and two independently owned facilities, we have a wealth of experience in early childhood education.
Owner Lissa’s journey began after graduating from college in 1993 when she started working at a preschool while pursuing her teaching certification. Over time, she transitioned into management and found her passion for providing high-quality childcare. In 2007, she opened her first daycare center, followed by another in 2009, to address the need for quality childcare in her hometown.
Lissa’s daughter leads the team at our Goliad location. Growing up in daycare, she firmly understood the importance of early childhood education. After volunteering and working at the center, she assumed the director role in 2021.
Longevity is one of our advantages, especially at our Goliad location, where we’ve served families for over a decade. With core values of honesty, trust, passion for excellence, and love of learning, we strive to create opportunities for children to explore, develop, and communicate in a safe, healthy environment.
